Israel demolishes the homes of two Palestinians responsible for two attacks in the West Bank in 2022

3 May. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Israeli Army has demolished early this Wednesday the demolition of the homes of two Palestinians responsible for two attacks carried out last year in the West Bank and which resulted in the death of four Israelis.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have indicated in a series of messages on their account on the social network Twitter that the demolished houses belong to Yunis Hilan and Mohamed Suf, residents of Hayah and Hares, respectively.

Likewise, it has indicated that during the demolition of Suf’s house several “suspects” have thrown stones at the military, who “have responded with measures to control demonstrations.” In the case of the activities in Hayah, several Palestinians have thrown stones and fireworks.

Hilan stabbed Shalom Sofer to death in October 2022 as he was leaving a shop in Al Funduq, a West Bank town near the Kedumim settlement. Suf killed three Israelis in November near the Ariel settlement.

Israeli security forces arrested Hilan hours after the attack and charged him with the attack, while Suf was shot to death some 20 minutes after the attack.

The Israeli authorities regularly demolish the homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out terrorist attacks, although activists and humanitarian organizations denounce this as a form of collective punishment.
