1 May. (Portaltic/EP) –
WhatsApp has been working for months on the possibility of synchronizing status updates with Facebook stories, a novelty that it first began to develop for the iOS operating system and is now also preparing for Android.
The publication synchronization tool appears in the privacy settings section of WhatsApp states, as an option to be activated by the user, who has to enter their Facebook social network account.
Once linked, the status update will automatically be shared as a story on Facebook, but the user retains control over which updates are shared and can change who can see them on the social network at any time, from the ‘app’ Facebook.
Both statuses and stories are a type of ephemeral content that disappears within 24 hours of being posted. In them, users can share photos, videos and publications on Facebook, and also text, voice messages and Gifs in the case of WhatsApp.
This novelty has been available in the beta for iOS since the beginning of April and now the specialized portal WABEtainfo has discovered it in the beta for android (v2.23.9.22) available on the Google Play Store.
