The breaking of weapons will not be a problem in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Unfortunately for those who hated this mechanic, there is bad news, since it will also be present in the sequel; however, it was modified in such a way that it won’t be as much of a concern as it was in the original game.

We say this because in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom there will be a way to extend his durability in a simple and reliable way, thanks to Link’s new ability to fuse objects.

The player will be able to use a weapon and fuse it with any object. In this way, the new shield will not only improve its strength attribute, but also its durability.

In case you missed it: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will have gachapon

The player will be able to separate the weapon and the item at any time, which will restore the weapon to its normal state, but will destroy the attached item. The interesting thing is that by doing this the durability of the weapon will be reset, which means that it will be possible to prolong its useful life in this way, according to IGN.

This means that the player will be able to do the fusion and reverse it so that the weapon never breaks and thus make them almost perpetual, as long as they have an additional item and do it before the weapon breaks.
