The Indian Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, has described as “excellent” the bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, held in New Delhi, the Indian capital.
“Excellent interaction with the Russian Defense Minister, General Sergei Shoigu, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in New Delhi,” Singh posted on his Facebook account on Friday. Twitter.
Both ministers have discussed issues such as bilateral defense cooperation — including military-industrial partnership — as well as the Russian defense industry’s participation in the Indian national ‘Make in India’ programme, an initiative aimed at ” facilitate investment, encourage innovation, enhance skills development and build better infrastructure.”
In addition, they discussed peace and security in the region, and both sides have expressed their “satisfaction” for mutual respect and trust.
