The Palestinian authorities have reported this Friday that a 16-year-old teenager has been killed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during a series of clashes in a town in the West Bank.
The teenager, who has been identified as Mustafá Amer Sabá, has died due to the seriousness of the injuries after being shot in the chest and being transferred to a hospital in the town of Belén, according to medical sources in statements to the agency. WAFA news.
The shots occurred during a series of clashes at the entrance to the town of Tuqu, south of Bethlehem, where Israeli forces have fired stun grenades and tear gas.
For his part, a spokesman for the Israeli Army has indicated that the incident is being analyzed, according to the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’. Tensions between Israelis and Palestinians have escalated in the last year. Since the beginning of 2023, 95 Palestinians have been killed, the majority in attacks or clashes with Israeli forces.
