QNAP Introduces QVP-85B and QVP-63B Network Surveillance Servers with up to Intel Core i5 and 8 Drive Bays

The specialist manufacturer of network storage devices, QNAP, has presented two new surveillance servers networked with 12th generation Intel processors. The new QNAP QVP-85B and QVP-63B They are available with 8 and 6 3.5-inch drive bays respectively. Besides, features QVR Pro surveillance software which admits up to 8 channels of IP cameras completely free of charge.

The QNAP QVP-85B includes a processor Intel Core i5 6 cores and 12 threads along with 8 slots for 3.5” SATA 6 Gb/s hard drives. This hardware is accompanied by 32GB of DDR4 memory in 2 modules of 16 GB. The QNAP QVP-63B features a Intel Core i3 4 cores and 8 threads and 6 bays available for SATA 6 Gb/s drives. This model has 16 GB of DDR4 memory in 1 16 GB module. Both models support up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and have 2 M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots to expand possibilities such as SSD Cache.

These NAS also include 2 RJ45 ports at 2.5GbE and 2 PCIe 4 slots to install compatible cards and thus expand their capabilities. Also has hdmi output for direct viewing of videos, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 type C port and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 type A ports. For the moment there is no recommended price for these new video surveillance servers.
