Since May 2022, Poland has sent Ukraine 80 shipments of humanitarian aid for energy needs, which is about 1.5 thousand tons of equipment. In the last week alone, 12 shipments arrived with a total weight of 174 tons.
Among the equipment provided are generators, transformers, insulators, reinforced concrete supports, electric cable, as well as emergency power systems, disconnectors and other materials necessary to carry out the repair work, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“Poland is not just a partner, but one of the biggest friends of Ukraine, which has provided us with comprehensive support since the first days of the large-scale war. Ukrainian energy uses all kinds of materials delivered by Polish partners. We are grateful to Poland for this support,” said Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko.
