According to figures provided by government spokesmen, more than three million people will benefit from this initiative.

As a complement to the delivery of the transfer, the beneficiaries of the program will be able to access a wide range of products and services for small agricultural producers and rural and urban microfinance, such as: loans for young people with an agricultural project; small, medium and large producers; people with income-generating activities, employees, pensioners, independent and natural persons from strata 1, 2 and 3.
The Transit to Citizen Income is a program that Social Prosperity implements this year to guarantee a decent income, of up to 500,000 pesos per month, to more than 3.3 million families in extreme poverty, moderate poverty and vulnerability. It is a historic initiative that serves as a starting point for overcoming poverty. The entity goes from allocating 1.9 trillion pesos in conditional monetary transfers to nearly 7 trillion pesos, and from benefiting 1.9 million homes to 3.3 million. It will favor mothers who are heads of households with children or adolescents in their care.

How do you know if you are a beneficiary?
1. Enter the official page of Social Prosperity and click on ‘Register’.
2. If you already have a registration, it will be necessary to log in to the Digital Citizen Authentication Service.
3. Once in the portal, you must enter the option ‘Consult drafts and benefits’, and it will appear on the screen whether or not you are one of the beneficiaries of the program.
It is worth clarifying that the first payment of Citizen Income is scheduled for April 2023. After these, the amount will be consigned to the beneficiaries in an interval of two months, that is, it will be consigned again in June, August, October, and December.
