The Secretary of State of the United States, Antony Blinken, has arrived this Friday in Vietnam on an official visit that will last until Sunday the 16th and in which he will meet with the main authorities of the Asian country, within the framework of the tenth anniversary of his comprehensive association.
Upon his arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Secretary Blinken was received by the United States Ambassador to Vietnam, Marc Knapper, and the head of the Department of the Americas of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Le Chi Dung .
Blinken is scheduled to meet his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, as well as Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary Nam Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Hanoi on Saturday.
After his time in Vietnam, Blinken will continue his Asian tour and head to Tokyo to participate in the G-7 meeting.
