13 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –

Israel has deployed numerous batteries of the ‘Iron Dome’ anti-aircraft system throughout the country, especially in the north, in the face of possible threats ahead of Quds Day, which is celebrated on the last Friday of Ramadan.

Given the possibility of new clashes in Jerusalem around the Esplanade of the Mosques, the Israeli Police will also deploy additional forces, as reported by the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.

In fact, the leader of the Shiite party-militia Hezbollah, Hasan Nasrallah, assured this Thursday that the Gaza Strip now has “growing capabilities” while stressing that Iran’s efforts must focus on “supporting the West Bank and Jerusalem”, as well as the “armed resistance”.

For its part, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has stated in a statement that “the days of the Israeli regime are numbered”, so Israel will not exist “in the near future”, the Mehr news agency has reported. .

In the same way, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has emphasized in a statement, under Quds Day, Tehran’s “firm position” on the “legitimate resistance of the Palestinian nation.” “The Islamic world must courageously support the Palestinian resistance against the occupation regime,” he added.

Since it was introduced by Ayatollah Ruholah Khomeini in 1979, Iran and other countries in the region have held a mobilization against Israel and its occupation of the Palestinian territories on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan.
