HBO Max says goodbye; now it will be Max and these are the new subscription plans

The new service will launch on May 23, the company said during an event on Wednesday.

What happened to HBO Max?

Last year, Warner Bros. and Discovery completed a business merger and now, after a lengthy process, they will unite content from both catalogs into a single streaming service: “Max.”

HBO content will continue to be available on the platform, whose motto will be “The One to Watch”. It will include everything currently on HBO Max and Discovery+ and will add several new series, including a DC Comics series “The Penguin,” among others.

According to a CNBC report, Max will include new tech features, such as the launch of a default kids profile that comes with parental controls. Warner Bros. Discovery executives previously told investors that one focus for the new service would be to revamp and improve its technology.

With the new service, “Max” is preparing to compete against other giants in the industry, such as Disney + and Netflix.

The prices of Max in the United States

Until now, the prices that will exist in the United States have been announced, where there will be three modalities:
