There are companies that are not ready to show games, but to satisfy the hunger of fans, they share the logo of the project. A recent case is that of Dragon Quest XII, which was announced 2 years ago with their logo. It is normal for there to be changes to a game during its development and Square Enix has just shown that even the logo could change.

Square Enix days ago shared on its recruitment page an image of Dragon Quest XII that drew attention because it showed a logo of Dragon Quest XII slightly different, as the flames looked a deeper red, perhaps to highlight the darkness of their theme.

Thanks to the copyright that appeared in the image, it was suggested that it was the updated version of the game logo, since it was seen that the registration dated from this year. So Square Enix tweaked the only image we know of from the title?

Days ago, fans concluded that, indeed, it was a change that Square Enix had stealthily made. However, this should not be taken for granted, it could well be a mistake.
We say this because if we go to the recruitment page that caused all this mystery, it is possible to see that the image is the original logo, the one that had supposedly been changed. But curiously, it does not have a previous year, but it appears that the registration of the trademark was made in 2023, which then suggests that there was no change.
Square Enix did not comment on it, so the mystery remains. On the other hand, all this fuss could not only mean that the project is still on course, but that Square Enix could be preparing news of the game.
