Two Israeli women have died and another Israeli citizen is seriously injured after a shooting attack occurred near a settlement in Hamra, in the north of the West Bank, as confirmed by the Emergency services.
The Army has confirmed the attack and started a search and capture operation against various suspects in the attack, directed against the vehicle in which the women were traveling and which caused the car to end up crashing at the intersection of Hamra, reports the ‘Times of Israel’ and the military on his Twitter account.
This attack takes place in the midst of a new armed conflict between Israel and Hamas, who have exchanged projectiles throughout last night, in which the Israeli Army has attacked positions of the Islamist movement in Gaza and southern Lebanon.
Palestinian media quoted by the Israeli newspaper ‘Yedioth Aharonoth’ indicate that those responsible for the assault are Palestinians, a point that has not yet been confirmed by the respective authorities.
