Samsung warns against using some unofficial accessories on the Galaxy S23

samsung has launched a notice for all owners of a terminal from the S23 range of the company in which the use of accessories not certified by Samsung for use in these terminals is discussed, something that can lead to damage to the terminalspecifically speaking of the protectors for the camera lenses.

Apparently, it seems that the company has seen how some Users have damaged the crystals that cover the rear cameras of the terminal when using glass protectors which, when retreating after being damaged – or for any other reason – can cause damage to the crystals they were intended to protect. In general, Samsung would prefer that these protectors not be usedbut otherwise, at least they ask that if they are going to retire at some point, be done with extreme caution. They also warn that Image quality may be affected if any liquid or foreign body gets lodged between both crystals.

Last but not least, it is noted that the S23 have a microphone under the upper camera of the terminal, so if an accessory covers this microphone for any reason, we could find sound quality problems both in calls and in audio and video recording.
