We do not know at this time why this has happened. but as we can see if we enter Twitter (in an apparently random way, but clearing the browser cache happens the first time) the Twitter logo has been replaced by the DogeCoin logo. This can be seen from both the icon in the top left corner and the center icon on the loading screen.
At the moment, this only seems to be happening on the Twitter website, and it is unknown if this is something that has happened internally at Twitter by an employeeat the direct request of Elon Musk, or if it is a hackalthough the latter does not appear to be the case.
In the same way, none of the official Twitter accounts sport the same symbolsomething that would be reasonable to expect if an attacker had gained enough access to the platform to change its icon, as well as being even more remarkable in a way.
Be that as it may, it is possible that soon we will see an announcement by Elon Musk in this regard, possibly related to DogeCoin, but for now it is still too early to know what is happening behind the doors of Twitter. We do know that Dogecoin's value is skyrocketing because of it.
