An attack on a restaurant in the Russian city of St. Petersburg has killed a well-known pro-Russian military officer and injured at least 25 others. The premises, called ‘Street Food Bar № 1’ and located at 25 Universitetskaya Embankment Avenue, belonged to the leader of the wagner group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The body found corresponded to the war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. He was born in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk and fought in 2014 in the self-proclaimed people’s republic. He had more than 560,000 subscribers to his Telegram channel.
According to the Fontanka outlet, which cites witnesses to the explosion, one of the guests, a woman supposedly, he handed over to the war correspondent a figurine containing the explosive. According to the emergency services, at the local exploded an explosive device of more than 200 grams of TNT.
