MSI has updated its line of high performance gaming monitors with the new MSI G253PF, a 24.5-inch model that stands out for the 380 Hz that its “Rapid IPS” panel reaches. This panel promises a GTG 1-millisecond response time along with VESA DisplayHDR 400 compatibility and 178-degree viewing angles horizontally and vertically.
Its typical maximum brightness is 320 nits, although it reaches peaks in HDR of 400 nits, while its contrast is natively 1000:1.
These 380 Hz are used thanks to the support for AMD Freesync technology with which they can be synchronized with the FPS of the graphics cards. Being certified, it should also work with G-Sync Compatible. The 380 Hz is only achieved through overclocked DisplayPort connectivity, since the two HDMIs included are only HDMI 2.0b and are limited to 240 Hz.
Its resolution is FullHD, since it is oriented to eSports and the maximum number of FPS is sought and exceeding those resolutions at 380 FPS is a difficult task.
He MSI G253PF it also offers MSI’s own gaming-oriented technologies, such as Night Vision to boost brightness in dark areas and improve visibility in games.
