The Colombian Stock Exchange reported that its Board of Directors temporarily entrusted Andrés Restrepo Montoya to the presidency of the Stock ExchangeCommercial and Product Vice President, who has been linked to the organization for two and a half years.

This commission is made given the nomination of Juan Pablo Córdoba as CEO of the Regional Holding made by the boards of the three Stock Exchanges involved in the integration project; role from which he will be in charge of the executive direction of the integration process of the securities markets of Chile, Peru and Colombia, for which he requires full and permanent dedication.

The stock exchange said that in this context, with the aforementioned assignment, bvc will maintain adequate management of the activities of its ordinary line of business.

Andrés Restrepo Montoya, Commercial and Product Vice President of the Colombian Stock Exchange (bvc), He is an economist from the Universidad de Los Andes and has a master’s degree in Economic Analysis and Financial Economics from the Complutense Institute of Economic Analysis of the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain).

Throughout his professional career, Restrepo has served as Financial and Administrative Manager of Ecopetrol America (Houston, United States), president of Previsora ​​Seguros and as technical vice minister of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Colombia, among other charges.

He also worked in companies such as Porvenir, Corporación Financiera Colombiana, Titularizadora Colombiana and Corporación Financiera del Valle.
