The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom It will arrive on May 12, but a few days before a special edition of the Nintendo Switch OLED video console will do so with a design inspired by this title starring Link.
Nintendo has confirmed the new edition of its game console in a new Direct where the producer of The Legend of Zelda saga, Eiji Aonuma, has shared new gameplay footage of this title.
Aonuma has pointed out that Tears of the Kingdom development phase has concludedand that to thank the fans of this franchise for their patience, he would make a brief foray into the game to show what the final result is like.
In this new installment, players will be able to explore the vast world of Hyruleboth on land and in the skies, since it introduces the so-called ‘celestial islands’, land masses that float in the heights. Link will have new vehicles such as the parasail to move between them, but also a four-engine drone or a hot air balloon, or on the back of a winged creature.
Link will have in this adventure new habilitiesas the power of recoilwhich reverses the movements of an object, or the ability to fuse objects to create weapons with the combination. And he will find new enemies like the golem.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12.
