The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmigal, has confirmed this Tuesday that the United States Administration will send a new economic aid package valued at 2,500 million dollars, more than 2,300 million euros.

As highlighted by the Ukrainian Government portal, these funds will reach Kiev through the project of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and will go to pay doctors, pensioners, displaced persons and help low-income families.

“It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has received almost 5 billion dollars –more than 4.6 billion euros– of support from the European Union, and more than 2 billion dollars –more than 1.8 billion euros- – of aid from the United States,” the Ukrainian government stressed.

Along with the confirmed economic support from the United States, Shmigal stressed that other European organizations and powers, including Spain, have collaborated financially with the Ukrainian authorities.

The Joe Biden Administration promised to send up to 9,900 million dollars -more than 9,100 million euros- to Ukraine to support the national economy and regardless of the military assistance that Washington can provide to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to . .

Ukraine has estimated a budget deficit of more than 33.2 billion euros for this year 2023, and almost all the income received by the Government will be used to improve military conditions and weapons capabilities.
