Audios with expiration that can only be played once arrive on WhatsApp

WhatsApp is promoting the privacy with the latest additions included to the messaging application, and we are not only talking about end-to-end encryption, but also about sending images and videos, which can only be viewed once.

And WhatsApp is also working on the possibility that the other multimedia element, the voice messagescan also only be heard once before they disappear.

In the new beta version for Google Play, specifically in version 2.23.7.8 of WhatsApp, it has been discovered that the engineers of the application they are working on a feature to send audio messages that can only be played once.

Voice messages expire, just like videos and images

Audio messages sent through this mode can only be played once, just like images and videos, and therefore cannot be saved, forwarded or recorded, for greater privacy.

This will give greater privacy and security to the communication between two people, since the audio message sent through this single listen mode can only be played once, and therefore the receiver will not be able to listen to it again.

It should be noted that this feature is in beta version, but it is quite likely that in the coming months it will already be available in a stable version, both for Android and iOS.
