The platform run by Elon Musk already added in December a metric to expose the reach of the publications of the social network, which shows the number of visits received by the ‘tweets’ and which can also be seen directly below the post.

Now, following this line, Twitter has introduced a function to display the number of times a tweet has been marked as savedas the platform has announced through a publication on its account Twitter Support.

In this way, users can know how many profiles have clicked on the ‘Marker’ icon in a post to save the tweet so you can revisit it later. However, unlike other similar functions, this does not allow knowing which specific users have done it.

On the other hand, as explained by Twitter in its help page, the marker count figure is publicly displayed to all users. “Whether you are the author or the reader, any Twitter user can see the bookmark count in tweets,” says the social network.

So this function It is shown in the details of the ‘tweet’at the bottom of the publication, along with the rest of the ‘Retweets’, ‘Quotes’, ‘Likes’ and views count sections.

At the moment, this function is only available to users that use Twitter in the ‘app’ to iOS. However, as reported by the social network, there are “expansion plans” to add this novelty also in Android.
