The action plan for Cities: Skylines includes the release of Content Creator Packs and Radio Stations which are scheduled to launch on March 22. It will be followed by a series of three additional content and a mini expansion developed by Colossal Order that will be available in May. Details will be provided later. The Finnish studio’s intention is not to abandon Cities: Skylines as soon as the latest add-on is available, but general support for the game will continue for the rest of the year. Then all the resources will go to the sequel still without a release date.
The three Content Creator Packs that will be available on March 22 are:
- Content Creator Pack: Africa in Miniature – Includes a total of 28 new structures inspired by the African continent. Its creator is the artist Setonji “Prince Set” Hotonu.
- Content Creator Pack: Shopping Malls – More than 60 resources, such as department stores and shopping malls to fill the shopping areas. It is a creation of modder KingLeno.
- Content Creator Pack: Sports Venues – Includes stadiums and community sports parks to meet the sports needs of the city. It is a creation of modder badpeanut.
The free radio stations are: JADIA Radio with music from the African continent, 80’s Movies Tunes, a station inspired by the 80’s classics, and Pop-Punk Radio, which includes 16 songs. In addition, Hubs and Transport, a free update that improves the transportation system for the base game Cities: Skylines, as well as the After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, and Mass Transit expansions, will be released on March 22.
