Zoom has announced a new functionality powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) that makes it easy to navigate through a recording and find the highlights of a video conference.

The video communication company has created this feature to streamline the search process in a certain videoconference, taking into account data such as those proposed by Gartner, which predicts that 75 percent of work conversations will be recorded in 2025.

It is a natural language processing technology that automatically summarizes, locates and extracts specific information from the recording, such as points or highlights. To do this, it uses the model GPT3, able to understand the context of the meeting.

In addition to breaking the meeting into parts for individual review, it browses and generates chapter summaries and allows users to add supplementary information.
