A Russian fighter plane has collided this tuesday against the propellers of a military drone reapers American-made, which would have forced the US military to shoot down the drone over the Black Sea, an area of intense NATO activity.
This was explained this afternoon by the US Air Force in Europe in a statement collected by the news agency Reuters in which they describe what happened as an “incident” caused by the “recklessness” of Russia.
“Our MQ-9 drone was conducting routine operations in international airspace when it was intercepted and struck by a Russian aircraft, resulting in a crash and the total loss of the MQ-9,” the statement detailed.
