The maker of chips for mobile phones, Qualcomm, has announced a new event that will take place in 7 days, the next March 17. In this event, of which no information has been revealed in this regard, it is expected that the company launch a new product from its range of Snapdragon processors.
According to rumors, this new CPU may correspond to a new Snapdragon from its 7 series for mid-range phones. At the moment the intentions of the company are not known, but it may be a new version of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 that was presented almost 1 year ago, this may correspond to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or a new Snapdragon 7 Gen 2.
Regarding the configuration, it is said that a Cortex-X2 core which will run at almost 3GHz along with 3 Cortex-A710 and four Cortex-A510 cores which will run at a lower frequency. It is also expected to include an Adreno 725 GPU. In this way it will be added to a mid-range CPU a Cortex-X2 core currently present in top-of-the-range processorswhich will give a performance boost to mid-range terminals that adopt this new processor.
