Now, interested users can sign up for the waiting list offered by the ‘app’ to download the closed beta of Bluesky Social, only available in the iOS store and for invited users.

However, one of the big differences is that Bluesky Social does not include direct messages. On the other hand, it is a decentralized proposal, which is based on a new AT protocol base technology or Authenticated Transfer Protocol, similar to the ActivityPub protocol used by Mastodon.
