Diablo IV reveals its requirements for PC along with new details about the armor system and the open beta

During a live broadcast, Blizzard has revealed new information about Diablo IV, including the minimum and recommended requirements that you will find at the end of the news. The company has also offered more details about the armor system and the March open beta. To get your hands on the full game, you will have to wait until June 6, when Diablo IV will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC via Battle.net.

In Diablo IV, characters have five armor slots (helmet, chest, legs, boots, and gloves) and the armor they will add based on their power not only mitigates physical damage, but also grants resistance to elemental damage. For example, if armor reduces physical damage by 60%, it also reduces non-physical damage by half (30%). Armor damage reduction cannot exceed 85% and at higher difficulty levels a penalty is applied to non-physical resistance. On the other hand, there are different ways to obtain damage mitigation to address the content end game.

Regarding the Diablo IV beta, the early access included with the reservation will begin on March 17 at 5:00 p.m. CET and will end on March 20 at 8:00 p.m. CET, while the beta open to everyone will go live. running on March 24 at 17:00 CET and will end on March 27 at 21:00 CET. Three classes will be playable during the Early Access weekend: the Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer, while the Druid and Necromancer will also be playable during the Open Beta weekend. The maximum level will be 25 and a maximum of 10 characters can be created per Battle.net account.

During the open beta, console players will be able to play local co-op, while online co-op will support four players on all platforms. On the other hand, we have three rewards for participating in the Diablo IV open beta that will be available after the game launches for those who get them. They are the following:

  • Title Initial low: it is obtained when arriving in Kyovashad with a character
  • Early Exploration Title: Awarded for reaching level 20 with a character
  • Beta Wolf Pack cosmetic item: Awarded for reaching level 20 with a character
