With just a few hours left until PlayStation VR2 hits stores around the world, Sony has revealed ten new games for the virtual reality headset. These ten titles are added to those that the company has announced in recent weeks. Together they make up a catalog of more than 40 games that will be available tomorrow or as part of the PS VR2 launch window.
In addition to revealing ten new games for PlayStation VR2, Sony has announced that users who get hold of the virtual reality device for PS5 will be able to access a sample of demos or game tests. “When starting out, players will see the sample content during the registration process,” says Shawne Benson of Sony Interactive Entertainment. “Such content can also be found on the PlayStation Store. Some of the available demos or tests are those of Horizon Call of The Mountain, Resident Evil Village, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge and many more”.
The ten new games announced for PlayStation VR2 that will be available during the launch window are:
- Another Fisherman’s Tale: an adventure with puzzles and “poetic narrative”.
- gorn: a gladiator simulator that will be available on March 16.
- Nock: Bow + Arrow Soccer: a game that combines archery with a soccer game. Available in March.
- Hellsweeper VR: Players will have to traverse different dimensions of Hell using weapons and elemental magic.
- ragnarock– A rhythm game where the player plays the role of a Viking captain who competes in a boat race through mythological settings. Available February 22.
- runner: an arcade experience where motorcycle battles take place. Available February 22.
- Startenders: Intergalactic Bartending: get ready to serve cocktails to the aliens and survive until you find a way to escape. Free update for PS VR2.
- Sushi Ben: a narrative adventure where you have to save a local sushi restaurant from bankruptcy.
- Swordman VR– A realistic fencing game with historical factions and boss battles. Free upgrade for PS VR2 for the first three months.
- Unplugged: Air Guitar: a music game where you can play songs by bands and artists like Ozzy Osbourne, The Offspring and Weezer. Available February 22.
