Episode 6 of The Last of Us It was broadcast this Sunday and there was a detail that caught the attention of many. She is about a character that several fans believe could be Dina, an important character in The Last of Us: Part II but is it her? Creatives of the series already spoke about it.
In case you haven’t seen the new episode of The Last of Us from HBO, we put you in context. As we saw in a preview, this is the chapter in which Joel finally meets Tommy in the community where the latter lives.

In one scene, Tommy and his community offer hot food to Joel and Ellie, who jump at the opportunity to sit down and eat in a quiet place. At one point, Ellie notices a girl staring at her and angrily yells “What?”. Given this, the girl decides to move away from her.

Who is the mysterious girl Ellie sees in The Last of Us?
But who the hell is this girl? It is not explicitly confirmed, but fans believe that it is Dina. Craig Mazin, co-executive producer of The Last of Usmade it clear that they want to leave it ambiguous, although his words leave open the possibility that it is about her.
“It is ambiguous. Someone is watching Ellie…I wonder who it could be? Or not. We will find out one day,” Mazin said.
For his part, Neil Druckmann, one of the creators of The Last of Us, said that this moment was considered an easter egg. In addition, he reacted with emotion when seeing that many fans related this character to Dina.

So the mysterious girl played by Paolina van Kleef is Dina? So far we cannot give a definitive answer; however, the balance leans towards an affirmative answer. This is due to their physical resemblance and the statements by Mazin and Druckmann, who simply do not seem to want to give much weight to a moment that will gain importance until the second season.
