We get interesting news than expected Digimon Survivesince those responsible have just shared information about the dark story that the title will offer, all when it is released in a couple of weeks.
As you surely know, this Bandai Namco installment will offer hours and hours of fun to all fans of the franchise, who are already eager to return to the Digiworld once again.
The game’s release is just a few days away, and its producer, Kazumasa Habu, had an interview with comic bookwhere he talked about different details, including the dark plot that gamers will find and how the idea originated:
“Looking at all the trailers released as well as the demo, fans feel like the game is a bit dark, but I wasn’t really trying to make it that way. The idea for the game came to me while watching Digimon Adventure, the anime. I was already an adult, and in anime, I think all the characters are basically written as heroes and that makes them so positive and focus on all the positive things between the human characters and the digital monsters. The characters will have their challenges, they will have their difficulties, but they will always make the right decision,” said the Japanese.
However, he assures that things are not like that in the real world, so he wanted to give a twist to what was seen previously:
“I thought: ‘If I am an adult who was sucked into such an unknown world, how would I react?’ I think as a real human being, people have their weaknesses, people are afraid of the unknown. Not everyone could make the right decision when they are scared, especially when people find out that these monsters are coming for them and want to kill them. In these dangerous situations, many people really don’t make the right decision. I think human beings make mistakes and I wanted to explore that,” he stated.

Finally, Habu confessed that all his work was based on this idea and he decided to create something that could be real:
“This is how this story came about. Sometimes, you don’t have to try to become a hero. You just need to feel what is real and do what you think is right. That is why, in this game, the characters are real and they make real decisions that can result in life or death, ”he concluded.
As you can see, it seems that all the fans who are waiting for the game will be able to find something different from what they have seen in the anime series, so it will undoubtedly be a great option.
Digimon Survive It will arrive on July 29 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
