ChronoCross had a relaunch in early 2021 with Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. It was a successful new version, but it was tainted by some performance issues on PC. Fortunately, it seems that Square Enix decided to fix it.
Through a message on Twitter, Square Enix announced that Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition will receive a patch this month. This is an update that will include a “broad change of changes”.

Among the novelties that you will find in the patch are improvements to the frame rate per second, changes to the Pip growth system and fixes for other bugs.
“Thanks to all of you for your opinions and feedback on Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. Have you already discovered the secrets that the original director, Masato Kato, added to this remastering”; Square Enix said.
