At least six Russian soldiers have died this Monday due to an explosion registered by a fire in an Army bunker in the Kursk region, located on the border with Ukraine, without any details about the causes for the moment.

Sources from the Russian emergency services have indicated in statements given to the Russian news agency TASS that the event took place in the vicinity of the village of Ulanok, located in the Sudzhanski district, before adding that another soldier was injured. .

Thus, they have stated that the fire at the facilities has caused the explosion of ammunition that was stored in the bunker. The Russian authorities have opened an investigation to try to clarify the incident.
