AMD offered the past CES 2023 new processors Ryzen 7000 series with 3D V-Cache technology, but these processors would be available later on February 28. Although the date has not yet been fulfilled, it has been possible to prove one of these new processors. Specifically the intermediate of the 3 launched, the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, with the Ashes of the Singularity test paired with an NVIDIA RTX 4090 using 1080p resolution with graphics set to Crazy.
The maximum score obtained was 9,100 pointswith 9,000 and 8,900 points in the other two registers, with approximately 92FPS. But unfortunately, this test not very reliable to check the performance, as there are records of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X together with an NVIDIA RTX 4090 reaching the 15,900 points and 160 FPS, too high a difference. But this record is also a good sign and we may be able to see other tests with better benchmarks these days.
He AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D will arrive in less than 2 weeks with 12 cores and 24 threads and a total cache of 140MB that will offer extra performance in games, thanks to its extra cache and speeds of up to 5.6 GHz.
