Razer has refreshed its line of high-end gaming keyboards with the new Razer Black Widow V4 Pro. The BlackWidow range has been around for more than 12 years, with models of all kinds and with varied features, we recently analyzed the BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed ​​with its compact size and wireless connectivity, but this new version of the BlackWidow range enters another category of keyboards with full-size cable and all kinds of features.

Featuring a full keyboard layout, including number pad on the right side and programmable macro keys, the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro integrates Razer’s own mechanical switches. It has a large wheel for volume or any action that we want to customize, although it comes with 8 presets that include zoom, tab switching and other options, up to 100 functions can be configured by hand on the wheel, distinguishable by multicolor lighting.

Independent key-by-key RGB lighting is complemented by a line of LEDs that line the entire keyboard, all of which are synchronized with Razer Chroma RGB software. It features removable USB-C connectivity with a polling rate of 8000 Hz and a single-port USB 2.0 HUB.

As for Razer mechanical switches, we’ll have several options including the tactile-responsive Razer Green ones we tested in the BlackWidow Elite or the linear type Razer Yellow. They are integrated into an aluminum structure with internal foam to dampen sound.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro is now on the market for a price of 270 euros.
