Embracer Group will release 94 games by April 2024

Embracer Group is one of the companies with the most video game development studios in the world. Thanks to this production power, year after year it reveals that it has almost 100 games in development and this year is no exception and it anticipated that several of them are large productions.

Embracer Group, an Austrian company that owns studios such as Saber Interactive, Gearbox and THQ Nordic, has just shared its financial report and it is striking that it reveals that its net sales increased 128% to reach $1.112 billion and that it is working on a lot of productions.

How many games does Embracer Group have in development?

According to company co-founder and CEO Lars Wingefors, Embracer Group has plans to release 94 games by April 2024.

What is most striking is that of these 94 games, 4 will be triple A titles. Some of them have already been announced, such as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, remnant 2and PAYDAY 3but the majority (precisely 58) are still not revealed.

The years after that will also be very active for the company, as it plans to release 31 triple-A games by April 2028, 19 of which will debut by April 2026. Obviously, he didn’t reveal which games he was talking about, but he did detail that 11 of them are in development at Saber Interactive and 8 of them are run by Gearbox. Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal will also give a lot to talk about, since they will launch 5 of these projects.

It is important to mention that Embracer Group defines a triple A project (AAA or high production) as projects involving more than 100 developers at their peak development point and are expected to reach at least 2 million units sold.
