At first, the wand becomes an extension of the control to perform combinations of spells, such as Expeliarmus or Accio with other ancient magic, but when there are too many rivals at the same time, the experience is somewhat frustrating, because to break the shields they need certain enchantments and the camera is often erratic in this regard, which leads to errors.
It is a game system in which the user must learn from trial and error. On Hard mode, the restart screen will most likely be recurring and the frustration could only be released by casting an Unforgivable Curse, such as Avada Kedavra.
Of course, one point in its favor is the RPG dynamics in which the user must increase the abilities of his character that is divided into five: Spells, Dark Arts, Main, Stealth and Room of Requirement (in fact it can also be use this place to save everything you collect in the game).
Being a fairly extensive game, you need a place to store all the information and for this there is also magic, since the protagonist has a spell book in which he can consult all his progress, from the places he visits, through his collections or mail, even the spells you have learned during your school year.
However, I would say that there is a weakness here as well, as the loading times are not that fast and consulting between missions and collections can be a tedious process that hinders the gameplay.
Constantly doing the Revelio spell to find the secrets of Hogwarts is something that detracts from the experience, since it is a vice that does not encourage organic exploration in the game.
Do I recommend buying Hogwarts Legacy?
Yes. This is a game that both Harry Potter fans and video game lovers will enjoy.
Of course, it still has some aspects of performance to improve and other elements in which a better job could have been done, such as the animations of the NPCs; however, I believe that it will become the must-have game in the magical world.
