samsung it started this wednesday the deployment of its ‘software’ One UI 5.1which introduces new features in the camera, for interface customization and to improve integration into the mobile ecosystem.
One UI 5.1 arrives “just a few weeks away from the announcement of the Galaxy S23 series”, along with the one that was presented, as an example of Samsung’s “commitment to bringing Galaxy users the latest innovations as soon as possible,” said EVP and Senior Executive, Software Office, Janghyun Yoon.
This ‘software’ update from Samsung introduces new features in the interface of Galaxy devices for a increased creativity and customization. And incorporates new camera functions announced with the Galaxy S23 series.
Galaxy users can create professional-quality photos with the features Expert RAW, now available directly as part of the Galaxy Camera app, and automatically enhance deteriorated detail in images with the feature Remaster Image improved.
One UI 5.1 also incorporates the new dynamic weather widget; expands Modes and Routines to enable custom wallpapers, ringtones, touch sensitivity, and fonts that can personalize specific activities; and improves the ‘widget’ Smart Suggestions adding the ability to recommend songs and playlists from Spotify.
When it comes to integration and connectivity across the mobile ecosystem, Samsung has introduced features like Multi Control expanded between Galaxy Book and ‘smartphones’, and link to windowswhich allows users to browse Samsung Internet on their phones to continue accessing the same pages on their PC.
The One UI 5.1 software update has started rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, S21 series and S20 series. Software updates for additional Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, will be available in the coming weeks.
