The 8th India-Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FOC) Consultations will be celebrated in New Delhi.
The Indian side was headed by Shri Sanjay Verma, Secretary (Western) of the Ministry of External Affairs. While the Kazakh side was headed by Kanat Tumysh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
India and Kazakhstan have extremely close and friendly relations. During the FOC, both parties reviewed the full range of bilateral cooperation within the framework of their Strategic Partnership and expressed their satisfaction with the current level of commitments.
Singapore to boost economic cooperation with India
The FOC provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The two sides reiterated their firm commitment to further strengthening India-Kazakhstan multi-faceted relations and deepening the strategic partnership.
Both sides agreed to hold the next round of Foreign Ministry Consultations at a mutually convenient date in Astana.
