12 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least one member of the Pakistani security forces has been killed and 14 others have been injured, including civilians, after a Pakistani Taliban attack on a convoy near the border with Afghanistan.

The attack has occurred in the municipality of Mir Ali, in North Waziristan, and the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) have already assumed responsibility for the attack.

The convoy was carrying security personnel and employees of the Marri Petroleum Company on its way to the town of Bannu when it was hit by the explosion of a cart near the town of Jajori.

“The vehicle was in the middle of a parking lot when it exploded and hit the security convoy,” according to local security sources in the newspaper ‘Dawn’.
