Three people die and 32 are injured in a fire at a hospital in Cairo

At least three people have been killed and 32 others injured after a fire broke out at an NGO-affiliated hospital in Cairo, Egypt.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, has indicated that, of the total number of victims, 28 have been transferred to different hospitals in the area to receive medical treatment.

The fire, which started in the radiology area of ​​the hospital, has caused burns, fractures and suffocation to the wounded who are being treated by emergency services, as reported by Al Arabiya.

On the other hand, the governor of Cairo, Khaled Abdel Aal, has highlighted “the speed of eliminating the effects of the fire after the completion of the investigations by the Prosecutor’s Office and forensics.”
