The Ibex 35 traded in the mid-session this Monday with a fall of 0.20%, which brought it to stand at 9,042.1 integers, in a week marked by the meetings of the central banks and by the presentation of business results .
Thus, the Federal Reserve (Fed) of the United States will meet this Wednesday and a day later, on Thursday, the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Bank of England will meet.
This Monday it has been known that the GDP of Germany registered a contraction of 0.2% in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the three previous months, when it had grown at a rate of 0.5%, as reported by the Federal Office of Statistics (Destatis).
In this context, a large part of the Ibex 35 values registered falls, led by Fluidra (-3.46%), IAG (-2.10%), Grifols (-1.52%), Rovi (-1.51 %), Amadeus (-1.44%) and Acciona (-1.14%). On the increase side, the highlights were Enagás (+1.09%), Sacyr (+1.06%), Cellnex (+0.97%), Logista (+0.49%) and Telefónica (+0.46 %).
The rest of the European stock markets also traded with falls in the mid-session, of 0.67% in Frankfurt, 0.58% in Paris, 0.22% in Milan and 0.04% in London.
Likewise, a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 86.82 dollars, with an increase of 0.18%, while Texas stood at 79.76 dollars, with increase of 0.10%.
Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0905 ‘greenbacks’, while the Spanish risk premium stood at 99 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.299%.
