Correos creates its own fiber and mobile operator

The Spanish state-owned Post Office has thrown out without making much noise Correos Telecom, an Internet operator through Fiber Optic. To this end, it has reached an agreement with Telefónica to have mobile network coverage with reduced price offers and FTTH.

For example, we have offers of 35 GB of mobile data for 14.99 euros with unlimited calls, 50 GB for 19.99 euros and up to 100 GB for 24.99 euros per month, with options to add second lines for 1, 2 and 3 euros respectively.

As for the fiber and mobile packs, they offer for 36.99 euros connections of 600 Mbps fiber along with 35 GB of data, and higher options that include up to two additional 100 GB mobile lines.

Correos Telecom has been operating for two months, but they have not created advertising campaigns and are limited to selling their mobile and fiber packs through their own network of offices and from their website.

It also has 3,500 km of unconnected fiber optic cables, fiber that they rent to operators so that they install their data sending and receiving equipment to offer Internet connection and thus make these infrastructures profitable.
