The first Blessing Cultural Festival in Fengdu County, chongqing, was held on January 23. More than 20 activities were carried out during this month, including the opening ceremony of the Blessing Cultural Festival, the phoenix rising shadow and light show, the blessing ceremony, and the Fengdu International Cultural Exchange Seminar. The event will last until February 21st .
At the blessing ceremony, the host led the audience and visitors to pray for the people of Fengdu. Classical mythical characters played by actors paraded through the Mingshan scenic spot, shared the blessing ceremony, experienced China’s traditional ritual system, and appreciated the blessing culture of Fengdu. This allowed citizens to participate in the festival in a profound way.
The phoenix rising shadow and light show was a major event of the Cultural Blessing Festival. Based on the 5000-year-old city of Fengdu, the show took the phoenix culture as the core and the national treasure cultural relic”Bayu Divine Bird” as a basis for deeply exploring the cultural connotation behind national relics.
Through five chapters on the beautiful meaning of the phoenix, the humanistic spirit of the Fengdu people with firm belief, hard work, and brilliant rebirth was displayed.
