Next May, in the middle of the electoral campaign for the municipal and regional elections, it will be seven years since the “pre-agreement” that Pablo Iglesias and Alberto Garzón sealed between small bottles to come together in the general elections and try to get the PSOE sorpasso that Podemos alone cannot it had achieved barely half a million votes in the December 2015 elections. Since then, practically everything has changed in Spanish politics, but seven years later and in full doubt about the way in which progressive forces will be organized in the near future, the party that Ione Belarra now leads and Izquierda Unida have reached an unprecedented level of agreement to compete in different autonomies and municipalities.
