They find a more comfortable way to play GoldenEye 007 on Switch

One of the most important releases this week was undoubtedly that of GoldenEye 007 on Switch and Xbox consoles, and although there have been no major control problems on Microsoft platforms, hybrid users have not thought the same. Because of this, a way to play has just been shared that greatly improves the experience on the Nintendo platform, so we invite you to continue reading to learn about it.

As you surely know, this installment of Rare was originally released for Nintendo 64 in 1997. Now, the game is available again and will allow new generations to enjoy a true classic.

However, it seems that some Nintendo Switch users are not very happy with the arrangement of the buttons that were made for gaming. GoldenEye 007so the experience is quite a departure from what is found on Xbox and its dual analog controller.

The good news is that thanks to a new tutorial shared by our friends at Nintendo Lifeand taking advantage of the hardware customization options, we already know a little trick to quickly transform the controls into something more comfortable, all doing a little configuration and using the Joy-Con backwards.

These are the steps to follow:

• 1. Launch the game using the 2 Joy-Con as a single controller (L on the left and R on the right)
• 2. Once inside a level, pause the game, go to the control screen and change the style from 1.1 Honey to 1.2 Solitare
• 3. Change the ‘Look Up/Down’ setting to ‘Vertical’ if you want to invert the default Look controls
• 4. Resume the title and put the left Joy-Con in your right hand and the right one in your left hand
• 5. Enjoy GoldenEye 007 in a much more natural way

As you can see, and although it would be nice if the game makers themselves made our lives easier, there are ways to achieve what they forgot. So there is no excuse to start this mission as the most famous agent in the world.
