Samsung presents Odyssey Neo G7, with MiniLED technology, 43-inch screen and 144 Hz refresh rate

Samsung Electronics has announced its new Odyssey Neo G7 monitor, based on MiniLED technology, which is equipped with a 43-inch screen, offers a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 1 ms response time.

The South Korean manufacturer has designed this device, focused on the ‘gaming’ field, to offer realistic image quality and optimized game features.

Odyssey Neo G7 It has a 43-inch screen and offers 4K resolution (3840 x 2160). It also has VESA Display HDR600 and HDR10+ certification, launches the MiniLED technology on a flat monitor.

Mini LED is a type of backlight technology available to televisions equipped with thousands of LED diodes miniature lights that illuminate the panel. Thanks to these, stronger contrasts and brighter images are achieved, even in dark gaming environments, as the company details in a press release.

The display also reduces light reflection, delivering richer-detailed graphics for any gaming platform, plus it clocks in at a 144Hz refresh rate and a response time of 1 ms (MRPT).

At the connectivity level, this latest release uses Ethernet LAN, DisplayPort connection and two HDMI 2.1 ports, is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and allows connection Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Regarding smart features, the company has qualified that Odyssey Neo G7 presents customizable experiences through Samsung Smart Hub and Samsung Gaming Hub, the platform that allows access to Xbox games Y Nvidia GeForce Now no downloads.

Samsung has commented that this monitor will be available worldwide from the first quarter of 2023, with launch schedules that vary by region.
