The Ukrainian authorities have activated this Wednesday night the air alert in a large part of the country in view of the possibility that Russian troops launch a major general offensive on a day marked by the commitment of Germany and the United States to supply tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The head of the presidential cabinet, Andrei Yermak, has urged the population not to ignore the alerts launched by the authorities and has reported that the anti-aircraft systems in several regions are already operational.
The governor of the Mikolaev region, Vitali Kim, has warned that the Russian Armed Forces have already launched Shahed model unmanned aerial vehicles, made in Iran, reported the UNIAN news agency.
Along these lines, the Ukrinform news agency has reported that, within the framework of these threats regarding possible Russian attacks, explosions have already been heard in Kherson and Dnipro, in the south and east of the country.
