20 Jan. (Portaltic/EP) –

WhatsApp has implemented a new feature that allows you to search by the date on which a certain message was sent or received in a conversation without having to search for it by ‘scrolling’.

The Meta-owned messaging platform has been working on developing this feature for months, an option that dismissed years ago and that it resumed in September of last year, as indicated by WABetaInfo.

WhatsApp already has a button to search for text and files, either in the chat interface itself or in an individual conversation or a specific group on the platform.

In the first case, the magnifying glass is at the top of the interface and contains filters like unread messages, photos, videos, links, audiosdocuments, surveys or links.

To make a search individually, in a specific conversation, you must press the three-dot button located at the top right of the screen and choose the ‘Search’ option. In this case, it only allows you to write text and has two arrows to move within the chat in case the term you are looking for is multiplied.

WhatsApp is now working on a feature that allows you to search for messages according to the date they were sent or received, as this portal has verified in the last stable update 23.1.75 for iOS from the platform.

This version, already available on the App Store, includes some of the latest innovations implemented by the company, such as a shortcut to open the chat with yourself and the ability to hide being ‘online’.

Along with them, the option to share images, videos and documents from other applications has been added only by dragging and dropping them in the WhatsApp chat, without having to go to the ‘Attach’ option.
