At least three people have died this Saturday night in a fire in a nursing home in Reutlingen, in the state of Baden Wurtemberg, in southwestern Germany.
A police spokesman has indicated that there have also been two serious injuries and several minor ones, as stated to the dpa news agency.
Firefighters continue to work at the scene, despite the fact that the fire has already been extinguished. The cause of the fire is being investigated, according to the spokesman.
The residence in question is specialized in elderly people with mental illnesses who require nursing care, according to the description on the company’s website, which indicates that 38 residents live there.
